Order Processing
Orders for in-stock items are processed within 1–3 business days. Made-to-measure clothing begins production once measurements are confirmed and payment has cleared.
If you pay by bank transfer (ACH), your order will show as On Hold until funds clear, normally 4–5 business days for a first order. We will confirm by email and WhatsApp as soon as it clears.
Where Your Order Ships From
We work directly with artisans and workshops rather than holding large inventory, which is how we keep prices reasonable on handmade goods. Delivery time depends on where your item is made.
- Clothing and artisan pieces from Ethiopia: 10–25 business days
- Housewares and accessories: 7–15 business days
- Made-to-measure clothing: add 7–14 business days for production
If you order several items, they may be made in different places and arrive separately. You will receive tracking for each parcel.
Duties and Import Taxes — Included
All duties and import taxes are included in the price you pay. We ship on delivered-duty-paid terms, so there is nothing to pay when your parcel arrives. You will not be asked for money at the door.
Tracking
A tracking number is emailed to you when your parcel is handed to the carrier. Please allow 3–5 business days for tracking to show movement — international parcels often show no updates until they reach the United States.
If Your Order Is Late
If we cannot ship within the timeframe shown above, we will contact you, explain why, and offer you the choice of waiting or receiving a full refund.
If your parcel has not arrived within the stated delivery window plus 10 business days, contact us. We will open an inquiry with the carrier and give you the choice of a replacement or a full refund. You do not have to wait indefinitely.
Delivery Area
We ship throughout the United States. For delivery outside the US, please message us first — some countries restrict import of items made with natural hide, such as traditional drums.
